These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of vanessaleblanc.com and any services provided by Vanessa LeBlanc (“I”, “me” or “my”).
By accessing this website, booking a service, or engaging with any service offered, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Nature of the Services
The services provided by Vanessa LeBlanc are educational, interpretive and orientation-based in nature.
They are intended to assist clients in gaining perspective, understanding and orientation in relation to their lives, work, relationships and personal direction. Services may incorporate symbolic or interpretive frameworks, including astrology, as reflective tools.
Services are provided for educational and reflective purposes only and do not constitute:
- medical or health care;
- psychological or psychiatric treatment;
- counselling or psychotherapy;
- legal, financial or taxation advice;
- crisis intervention; or
- any other regulated professional service.
No diagnosis, treatment, prediction or directive instruction is provided.
2. Personal Responsibility
By engaging with this website or booking a service, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years of age;
- you are capable of making your own decisions;
- you accept responsibility for your own choices, actions and outcomes; and
- you understand that no specific results or outcomes are guaranteed.
The purpose of an Orientation Session is to offer perspective and orientation—not to direct your decisions or determine your future.
3. Professional Advice
The information provided through this website and all services is not intended to replace advice from appropriately qualified medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professionals.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or require urgent professional assistance, please seek appropriate emergency or professional support immediately.
4. No Guarantees
Every person’s circumstances are unique.
While services are intended to assist reflection and orientation, no guarantee is made regarding personal, professional, financial, relationship or other outcomes.
You remain solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take following a session.
5. Bookings, Payments and Cancellations
All sessions must be paid in full prior to the scheduled appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Where sufficient notice is provided, one reschedule may be offered, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If Vanessa LeBlanc is unable to provide a scheduled service, you will be offered either an alternative appointment or a refund of any fees paid for the affected service.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
Reasonable care is taken to protect the confidentiality of information shared during sessions.
Information disclosed during a session, together with any personalised Orientation Report, correspondence and any working notes reasonably required to provide the service, will be treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or comply with legal obligations.
Personal information is collected only for purposes reasonably connected with providing and administering services.
Personalised Orientation Reports and any working notes reasonably required to provide the service are ordinarily retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and are generally securely deleted within 60 daysfollowing completion of the session, unless longer retention is required by law or for legitimate business, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
Clients may request earlier deletion of their Orientation Report and any working notes reasonably required to provide the service, subject to any information that must legally be retained.
7. Client Agreement
Clients booking an Orientation Session may be required to accept a separate Client Agreement before the booking is confirmed.
Where a Client Agreement applies, it forms part of the agreement between Vanessa LeBlanc and the client. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the Client Agreement regarding the delivery of a booked service, the Client Agreement will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including written material, reports, methodologies, frameworks, graphics, branding and other materials, is the intellectual property of Vanessa LeBlanc unless otherwise stated.
No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, adapted or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Clients may retain and use their own personalised Orientation Report for personal use only.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanessa LeBlanc is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or participation in any service.
You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and outcomes.
Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of this website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
